(334) 361-9979 Autauga Medical Clinic Mission Statement It is our mission of Autauga Medical Clinic to provide the highest possible level of medical clinic services to the people of the Autaugaville area. These services will be delivered with dignity for the patient, compassion in medicine, and with corporate integrity, in such a way as to enhance the quality of life in this area while providing a secure work environment for employees and a reasonable return to the owners. Our Physicians Dr. Joe Frank Howell is a General Practitioner. He sees patients between infancy through adulthood. Dr. Howell received his Bachelor of Science degree and Medical degree from the University of Alabama. He has had over 30 years of experience taking care of patients in Alabama. Dr. Tommy Garnett is a Podiatrist. He graduated from Auburn University with a Chemistry Degree. Then he went to the University of Osteopathic Medicine where he graduated from the College of Podiatry in Iowa, after he was a surgical resident at the VA Medical Clinic. Dr. Garnett has been in a private practice in Wetumpka for six years, and is the residency instructor for the Montgomery Family Practice. Dr. Michelle Medina is a Pediatrician and sees patients between the newborn period up to age 22 years. Dr. Medina received her medical degree from the University of the Philippines with honors. She completed a residency in Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic Children’s Hospital, after she served a year as Pediatric Chief Resident. Dr. Medina is Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Our Staff When you call or come by our office you can be assured that you will receive courteous and knowledgeable service from all of our staff. She has been working in the clerical field for 16 years. Scheduling Patients We accept Blue Cross Blue Shield, Medicare, Medicaid and all commercial insurance. For patients with no insurance please ask our staff about making payment arrangements. We make scheduled appointments for our patients and accept walk-ins. urgent problems will be scheduled as soon as possible, usually on the same day. Patients who walk in without an appointment will be seen on a “first come, first serve” basis, except in cases of emergency. For Appointments Call (334) 361-9979 to schedule an appointment.
