 About Us

A Nu Direction is an inpatient detoxification, stabilization and partial rehabilitation program located within a hospital setting. A Nu Direction’s staff is caring competent and eager to assist each patient with treatment. A Nu Direction provides the fundamentals of recovery based on the 12 Steps of the AA and NA programs. An individualized treatment plan is developed based on a comprehensive Psycho-social assessment of each patient. During the treatment process the patient will attend daily structured group therapy provided by didactic lecturing as well as treatment plan resolution in group therapy. Also, the group sessions provides lessons on lifestyle changes needed for recovery. During this process the patient sets long and short term goals.

 Our Services

• A Nu Direction accepts individuals that are ages 19 and above with alcohol and addiction problems.
• The average length of stay in A Nu Direction is 3-7 days.
• Transportation can be arranged for those inside the state of Alabama who are in need of transportation.
• Possibility of transportation for those inside of the United States.
• Medicare, Medicaid, and most other insurance’s are accepted.
• Admissions are accepted on a 24-hour basis.
• Dually diagnosed patients who are stable are also welcome.
• As part of follow up, referrals are made based on the individuals needs and qualifications.
• Each patient will attend daily structured group therapy sessions provided by didactic lecturing as well as treatment plan resolutions.
